This week's phonics book: Set 1 - Story 4- The spell
Monday-Wednesday: Read the speed sounds, story words, red words and speedy words. Then read the story using your Fred talk.
Thursday- Read the story using 'Fred in your head' and with fluency. Answer the questions about the story.
Friday- Please read to your child- share a range of picture books and non-fiction books together.
There will also be a 'Get Writing!' activity to complete everyday using the 'Hold a Sentence' and 'Editing' skills that we taught in the live virtual teaching sessions before half term. Please use these skills and the powerpoint provided to support your child.
