The powerpoint from the Ofsted Parent Meeting tonight can be found here.
Thank you to the parents who came to listen to our response to the report and our plans for the future. We were delighted to be joined by John Searson, the Diocesan Director of Education and Lucinda Ross from Plymouth Local Authority.
The overwhelming response from those parents who attended was positive and supportive towards the school for which we are very grateful. This is truly a partnership and there must be honest and open communication between both parties to enable it to flourish.
Some of the parents who attended made it clear that the presentation and discussion helped to reassure them that the school knows what needs to be done and has plans and support in place to do so. Other parents, who have had children at the school for several years, remarked on how they can see and feel the positive changes in the school in the last 16 months. I speak for the whole team who attended tonight when I say that your comments mean a lot to us all and reassure us of your support and commitment to the future.
I have added some brief notes to the Powerpoint to hopefully add context to parents who could not attend. If you have any questions, as always, don't hesitate to contact me.
