Today our school was filled with hundreds of brightly coloured socks - on feet, on hands, in hair, on tshirts... they were everywhere!! We even had some beautiful sock rabbits made especially.
The children joined in with a special worship where we talked about our friends who have Down Syndrome and how they are just as special and unique as everyone else. Some of them love to sing and dance; some of them love Star Wars; some of them love going to parties; some of them love splashing in muddy puddles.... so do lots of us!
We even had a go at joining in with a sing-a-sign-a-long of the current viral carpool karaoke hit (https://www.facebook.com/jamie.mccallum/posts/10156492970426015).
Our efforts raised over £150 for the Down Syndrome Association and we had lots of fun with our lots of socks! Thanks to everyone who got involved.
