Internet Safety

We ensure that when children access the internet in school they are supervised and are not at risk of accessing inappropriate materials. One of the ways in which we do this is through our filtering system, through SWGFL, which ensures inappropriate content cannot be accessed.

In addition, we teach the children about internet safety through discussion in class as part of our Computing curriculum, as well as when things occur (e.g. an issue arising at home) and through Safer Internet Day annually in February.

It is important that children, staff and parents are aware of the latest advice on Internet Safety. Please find some links below which you may find of interest.
