26.02.21 Spot the signs of spring
Spring is hopefully giving us all some much-needed cheer. But how many spring sights can you spot in the garden or out and about during your daily exercise? This is a great way to teach youngsters about the changing seasons and keep them interested on a walk. Make a list before you go out, keep your eyes peeled and try and tick off everything:
- Frothy blossom falling like confetti
- Buzzing bumblebees - see if you can spot different types too!
- Spring flowers nodding in the breeze
- A butterfly resting on a leaf
- Ladybirds in the grass
- Fresh leaves bursting out of buds
Please take some photos of the things you spotted and share them with us on Tapestry. I wonder if you could draw and paint some of the spring flowers you spotted on your walk?
